About the ALLETT QC14V Verticut Cartridge (14 Inch)

A verticutter cartridge for the Kensington 14B lawnmower

A 14-inch verticut cartridge to be used with the Allett Kensington 14B lawnmower. The thin and closely spaced tines effectively lift lateral growth and remove moss from the lawn, encouraging new growth. Generally, the verticut cartridge removes twice as much thatch as the scarifier cartridge, and it can be used more regularly to keep on top of your lawn in-between its yearly scarification.

The verticut cartridge is part of Allett's Quick Change (QC) system featuring a range of interchangeable cartridges which also includes an aerator, de-thatcher, and lawn brush (sold separately). Cartridges can be replaced in just a couple of minutes.

Top tip for verticutting: start with the cartridge on setting four and gradually lower. The blades should be touching the thatch layer and above, and should not be penetrating the soil as this will damage the blades.
