Designed for use in long grass and wild flower areas the Alko BM875 11 scythe mowers / sickle bar mowers are specialist machines that offers excellent cutting performance, cutting tall grass at the base. This allows the grass to be easily gathered up while ensuring wild flower seeds are left undisturbed on the surface of the soil. The specially hardened ESM blades come as standard and result in the toughest jobs being handled with ease. User - friendly handles can be adjusted to suit the height of the operator. Easy to use, high performance and lightweight, the reliable Briggs & Stratton engine will clear long grass areas quickly and easily. Features power driven large pneumatic tyres with deep tread for easy manoeuverability over tough terrain. Guides on the underside of the cutting blade minimise the risk of blade damage against walls and edges, or becoming stuck in soft ground.
