Bearcat SC5540BXE 5" Chipper with a PTO Engine.

The Bearcat SC5540BXE chipper shredders are PTO models which feature a hand-operated clutch. Feature a very sturdy construction of 7-gauge steel on both the chipper housing and the trailer. The Bearcat SC5540BXE chipper shredders make use of a double banded belt drive and feature a thick feed chute opening. The dynamically balanced disc, with cantilever design, reduces wrapping while utilizing two reversible chipper blades. This design also facilitates easy maintenance. Belt engagement is controlled by a manual lever.
