The new drive concept makes this Bosch Rapid 2000 garden shredder lighter and extremely mobile. A robust stand provides greater stability while wheels can cope with steps. Extremely lightweight, the Bosch AXT RAPID2000 garden chipper shredders can be easily transported. To accelerate filling, Bosch has developed an innovative funnel design with a larger hopper inlet. The patented prodder coupled with the Powerdrive 2000 watt motor guarantees speedy work and a high material throughput. For user safety the Bosch AXT RAPID2000 chipper shredders feature a restricted aperature which will not allow the operator's hands access to the shredding blades. This innovative hopper design also features a practical plunger to push material in towards the blades for increased material throughput without increased risk for the user. The hopper can be removed easily when the machine is stationary though to facilitate maintenance. The Bosch AXT RAPID2000 chipper shredders feature hardened steel, double sided cutting blades for high performance shredding of branches up to 3.3 cm in diameter. Large switch with child-proof feature. Collection bag available as an accessory and easily attachable with hooks. Overload cut-out to protect the motor and gears and an anti-start up safety switch to provide extra safety in the event of a power cut.
