As an electric saw that benefits from lighter weight, lower noise, and none of the fumes or complicated starting procedures of petrol equivalents, the 420EL is great for domestic use, excelling when performing indoor tasks or being used by craftspeople. It has a 5 metre power cord so you still have excellent flexibility.
A pleasure to work with
Without the fumes, noise, complications or weight of petrol equivalents, the Husqvarna 420EL is great to operate. It starts instantly, using an electric motor, while the chain tension can be adjusted quickly and easily without any need for tools. The handle is ergonomically shaped for greater comfort and easier access to the controls. An inertia chain brake activates if a sudden upward motion is detected, for extra safety.
