A powerful & fuel efficient saw
Using Husqvarna’s renowned X-Torq technology enables this model to provide more power when you need it the most, while using up to 20 percent less fuel and producing 75 percent less emissions. The 59.8cc engine in conjunction with the 18 inch bar enables you to work comfortably on medium diameter timber, tackling tough, professional jobs. Despite its high levels of power, this chainsaw uses a new ground-breaking slimmed-down design for a wonderful overall package.
Comfortable operation without hassle
Anti-vibration dampeners absorb the engine’s vibrations to spare your arms and hands while working, allowing you to operate for longer without strain. This is also an easy machine to use, with Husqvarna’s AutoTune system providing optimal engine performance through automatic engine setting, removing the need for manual carburettor adjustments, and their Smart Start technology, reducing resistance in the starter cord by up to 40 percent. The start/stop switch and fuel pump also aid easy starting, while a quick-release air filter and air filter cover makes maintenance simpler.
A robust & high quality chainsaw
The Husqvarna 555 uses a forged three-piece crankshaft to provide maximum durability as needed when performing the toughest jobs. Similarly, the magnesium crankcase has been designed to withstand high rpms for consistent performance and a long service life. A centrifugal air cleaning system helps to reduce wear and increase operating time between filter cleanings, while an adjustable oil pump ensures you can set the chain lubrication to meet your needs.
For safety, this model features an effective inertia activated chain brake to stop the saw if a sudden upward motion is detected.
