Robust & durable

A pre-separation air filtration system achieves perceptibly longer filter life compared with conventional filter systems, while the Ematic chain lubrication system ensures maximum lubrication, longer wear and less oil consumption – it can reduce bar oil consumption by up to 50 percent. A compensator in the carburettor maintains the fuel/air ratio even as the air filter becomes clogged, meaning engine power is also maintained and the filter only needs to be cleaned when an appreciable drop in power takes place.

Comfortable operation & control

All of the unit’s important operating functions (such as start, choke, throttle and stop) are operated using a single lever, making it comfortable to use for longer periods. This is backed-up by anti-vibration technology, which dampens the engine oscillations to significantly reduce the vibrations at the handles. Wherever possible, STIHL have made the MS 211 as hassle-free as possible to use. The oil and fuel filler caps have special catches on them for easy opening and locking without the need for tools, while the chain tensioner is conveniently located on the side of the machine so you don’t have to touch the saw chain.
