The PocketBoy is the smallest saw in Silky’s range but that doesn’t make it any less popular; it is nicknamed ‘The Little Giant’ due to its compact size and amazing cutting capacity. This blue-handled version features fine teeth and is available in 130 or 170 mm non-stick blade lengths.

Exceptional performance and maximum service life

The alloy steel used for the blades is exclusively produced for Silky, making it harder and longer lasting, whilst delivering exceptional tensile strength which provides an unrivalled combination of hardness and flexibility. The teeth are specially treated to remain razor sharp and last 3 times longer than non-hardened teeth.

Safety is paramount

The rubber handle is non-slip and offers superior grip even in cold, wet conditions for user safety. The blade folds down for safety when not in use, whilst a plastic case complete with a belt clip keeps the whole knife safe and secure.

How to use

This Japanese pruning saw is designed to cut on the pull stroke, meaning the blade will be under tension on the cutting stroke and will not be able to bow; it should also mean fewer vibrations and require less effort for more comfortable use. Pull the saw towards you with force, taking the pressure off the blade in order to release the saw on the push stroke.
