Hayter Harrier 48 19" Self Propelled Rear Roller Lawn Mower with Electric Start, Variable Speed AutoDrive and a Briggs & Stratton Engine

The Hayter Harrier 48 Electric Start machine offers the same benefits as the Harrier 48 Autodrive, with the addition of a key ignition for effortless starting. The rear roller allows the machine to give the traditional striped finish and to cut over the lawn edge. With the cutterbar raised slightly rough areas can also be cut with ease. A strong aluminium deck provides exceptional durability and corrosion resistance. Front fins fitted on the deck notceably improve the quality of cut that can be obtained. The cutting height is adjusted by a single lever and can be locked in at one of seven positions from as low as 13 mm to as high as 65 mm. The grassbag has a very high capacity, to reduce the amount of time taken emptying it, and can be lifted through the handlebars for ease of disposal. The Hayter Harrier 48 lawn mowers have a two piece folding handle that can be adjusted to suit the user's height. Operator Presence Control safety mechanism incorporated snugly into the handlebar which, when released, stops the mower completely. A cutterbar friction disc is fitted which protects the engine crankshaft from bending. This disc is unique to Hayter and limits impact damage should you accidentally hit a solid object and thereby qualifies for a lifetime guarantee against engine crankshaft bending.
