A professional hedge trimmer that excels when cutting and shaping.
The HS 82 T is a high-quality petrol tool from STIHL, with the robustness, power and extra features you would expect, along with adaptations to make it even more suitable for fine trimming and shaping of hedges and shrubs.
Get the perfect cut
As the 'T' version of the HS 82 series, this machine specialises in providing perfect trimming and shaping. This is thanks to the tool's blade shape, with smaller tooth spacing and lower tooth height, which, in conjunction with the gearing that makes for a high stroke rate, means more specific shapes can be achieved. The blade is double-sided to provide a clean cut and allow it to cut stronger, thicker branches when necessary. This model is the 24 inch / 60 cm blade version.
Excellent & efficient power
With STIHL's 2-MIX engine technology, you can rely on the lower fuel consumption and emissions, as well as the powerful acceleration of this machine. Because of the engine design, the tool has a lighter weight, making it more comfortable to operate, while still maintaining sufficient power reserves for cutting thicker shrubs. An electronic ignition module helps with reliable starting and trouble-free running, and a manual fuel pump reduces the number of starting pulls required after extended breaks in operation.
Comfortable, effortless control
The HS 82 T has a system in place to dampen the oscillations from the machine's engine, significantly reducing vibrations at the handles. This allows you to work for longer in comfort and without fatigue. The operating controls of this tool are integrated onto one element, with the choke, start gas, operating position and stop function all grouped together. The handle can be rotated by 90 degrees to the left and right, which means you can enjoy the best cutting position at all times.
