Excellent cutting performance

The 20 inch / 50 cm cutting blade is double-sided with a high stroke rate of up to 3,400 strokes per minute, promising a clean cut and smooth operation. The blade itself has been laser cut and ground using diamond discs. This gives the cutting edges an even harder profile, making them particularly resilient and able to remain sharp for longer.

Comfortable operation thanks to intelligent design

The HSE 52 is lightweight, quiet and has low vibrations, weighing just 3.1kg. This makes it nearly effortless to use the machine, something which is backed up by the 10m cable supplied as standard, and the cable strain relief, to avoid it becoming disconnected during use. STIHL have aimed to make a tool that is completely hassle-free. A mechanical blade brake helps to ensure safety, stopping the blade reliably in less than a second after it is turned off. The hand guard is also small enough to allow an optimal view of the cutting blades, so you can see exactly what you are doing at all times.
