It's powerful but I feel more stable using the Husqvarna 240E at the top of the ladder. It's very easy to handle and it cuts easily through saplings. There's no fiddling around starting the machine either, which is good when stood at the top of a ladder. Any adjustments are easy to make. The chain tensioner is really simple to operate and it's easy to get to the filter, although I haven't needed to replace it that often. One will last me a couple of months
