New for 2008 this larger mid size professional saw features the most advanced technology to give the user the most cutting power available while being ergonomic and flexible. The Husqvarna 576 chainsaws cutting power, provided by an engine which has a great displacement of 73.5 cc, is enhanced by X TORQ engine technology that increases the rotational force of the chain at a wide range of rpm. However, despite all this power this saw is a very strong environmental and economical choice as fuel consumption levels are low and emissions from the exhaust fall below the strictest environmental regulations. An improved handle design with comfort inlays provides a stable and less tiring grip. Also housed on the rear handle are anti-vibration dampers which effectively reduce the vibration in the handle to save the user's hands and arms from the effects intense vibrations can have on blood vessels. Smart Start engine will start quickly with minimum effort consistently with resistance from the starter cord reduced by up to 40%. A heavy duty crankshaft and crankcase provide durability for the toughest applications. Air injection provides a centrifugal cleaning system which removes dust particles from the air to reduce wear on the air filter, increasing the intervals between filter cleanings. Side mounted chain tensioner allows for quick alteration of the chain with no need for tools. The filter cover can also be opened tool-lessly to save time when cleaning. A transparent fuel tank conveniently shows the user when it is time to refuel.
