A superbly easy-to-operate petrol chainsaw.

The MS 211 C-BE is ideal for cutting firewood or felling small trees, while also being packed with excellent features to make it simpler and more comfortable to use. It is available with a choice of bar lengths: either 14 inch / 35 cm or 16 inch / 40 cm.

Supremely easy-to-start

Firstly, starting the MS 211 C-BE is far simpler than on other machines, thanks to STIHL’s ErgoStart technology. This cuts the effort required to start the tool by half, with the starter cord also only needing one-third of the usual force to pull. A purger reduces the number of starting strokes required after extended breaks in operation, also helping take the strain out of starting the machine.

Comfortable, hassle-free operation

STIHL have included numerous features in this saw to help reduce operator fatigue and make it easy to use. For example, anti-vibration technology is present, which significantly cuts the amount of vibrations present at the handles. Tool-free filler caps allow for easy opening and locking of the oil and fuel tanks, while a chain quick tensioning system allows the chain to be adjusted using just a thumb wheel and again, no tools. All of this model’s important control functions are housed on a single operating lever, again helping to reduce fatigue.

Durable, robust, and efficient

STIHL’s engine technology is extremely efficient, providing low-emissions and low fuel consumption, with strong power. Advanced combustion technology helps provide further advantages to fuel consumption, as well as high torque across a broad rpm range, while a compensator in the carburettor works to maintain the fuel/air ratio and engine power at a constant rate, even when the air filter becomes clogged. The filter itself benefits from a long-life thanks to a pre-separation system, and the Ematic chain lubrication system results in maximum lubrication, longer wear and less oil consumption than conventional methods of lubrication.
