The MS 241 C-M comes with the M-Tronic engine management system, as well as all the usual STIHL features you would expect from their range of saws. Available with a choice of 14 inch (35 cm), 16 inch (40 cm) or 18 inch (45 cm) bar lengths available.

Easy starting technology

Starting petrol machinery can be a real chore, but STIHL have worked hard to cut the effort and hassle out of getting this saw going. Firstly, the ElastoStart technology reduces the shock caused by the compression of the engine during starting, taking it away from your joints and muscles using an element in the handle. There is also a decompression valve that can be pressed before starting to reduce the compression pressure and in turn minimise the effort needed to pull the starter rope.

Intelligent engine management

This model comes with STIHL’s M-Tronic fully electronic engine management system, which adjusts ignition timing and fuel metering to ensure consistent performance, a constant maximum speed and superb acceleration. It takes external conditions such as temperature, altitude and fuel quality into account and makes manual carburettor adjustments unnecessary. Thanks to the M-Tronic system, only one start position is needed on the combi lever – you can apply full throttle straight away even from a cold start.

Comfortable, powerful & durable

The MS 241 C-M uses anti-vibration technology to significantly reduce vibrations at the handles, allowing you to work for longer without fatigue. Special catches on the fuel and oil tanks allow for easy opening and locking, helping to reduce spillages and make the machine easier to top up. The tensioning screw can be found on the side of the machine so that you don’t have to touch the sharp saw chain, and captive nuts prevent you losing the nuts on the sprocket when changing the cutting tool. The Ematic chain lubrication system provides maximum lubrication , longer wear and less oil consumption than conventional lubrication methods, and a long-life air filtration system helps to achieve a perceptibly longer filter life.
