About the HAYTER HARRIER 41 VS Petrol Lawnmower (375A)

A self-propelled variable speed Harrier 41.

This is a 41 cm / 16 inch Hayter lawn mower with self-propelled variable speed transmission and a rear roller ideal for striped lawns.

A fantastic striped finish

The two-piece, ribbed rear roller included with the Harrier 41 means you can achieve superb stripes with superior traction and manoeuvrability with no turf marking when turning. The incorporation of a Trim Side means you can cut right to the edge of borders or walls, leaving less to trim afterwards. The cutting height can be selected from seven between 13 and 60 mm with a single lever.

Typical Hayter quality

Your Harrier 41 mower comes with a five year conditional domestic warranty, as well as a lifetime warranty against engine crank-shaft bending. This is typical of this British brand trusted by countless gardeners. Along the same lines, this model uses a Briggs & Stratton 625E Series 150cc engine, again another trusted brand known for providing reliable power. The cutter deck is made of aluminium and again has a lifetime warranty, so this really is a mower you can trust.

A pleasure to work with

When running as a collector, the 60 litre grass bag is easy to lift through the handlebars to empty or remove (so that the mower can be used in rear discharge mode). The handlebars can also be folded to save space when storing the machine. As this is an Autodrive model, it has variable speed control, adjustable between 2.2 and 3.4 mph to suit you and your operating conditions.

An Easy-Wash system is also included, offering a quick and simple way to clean the cutting chamber, while the Vari-Pitch cutting technology gives optimum performance even in long grass, with the cutter deck automatically adjusted to provide increased airflow.

Comes with a 5 year conditional domestic warranty. All Hayter products are proudly made in Great Britain.

Didn`t receive any oil though ?

    • Garden Machinery Direct

In this instance the oil would have been delivered in the machine, and we’d have added stickers advising the free oil is in the machine.

  2. Jonathan Martin

    Great product and service

  3. Jo

Hopper difficult to empty into bags I use. I know, get bigger bags but would not practical for carrying through house.

  4. John Fraser

This is my second Hayter Harrier. The first, bought in 2002 was still good and I gave it to a family member where it is giving good service. It’s a proven design and performs well. Reliable and starts easily. I would bu any other make.

  5. Barbara Avery

Perfect mower. I bought my first Hayter Harrier about 16 years ago and although it’s still going strong I wanted a wider cut as I have quite a big lawn. Also, I have curved beds and undulations to navigate and wanted more speed settings. I am absolutely delighted with the performance of this mower, everything I wanted. I am 73 years old, 5’ 4’’ tall and weight 8 stone 8 lbs and handling the mower is no problem. Just love the ease of cleaning – just click the hose on and job done. Great price too. Delivered when stated. One very happy customer.

  6. Chris Taylor

I swopped a Mountfield for the Hayter for it’s roller, side cutting and variable drive speed. So far I am very happy with the machine, it is very well made compared to my Mountfield, performs well, easy to manoeuvre.

  7. john fairhurst

    brilliant piece of kit

  8. Mrs Nicola Briggs

Easy to use /start .Gives your lawn a great finish, now on my second one wouldn’t choose anything else.

  9. WBC

Fine looking machine, which will hopefully run well when first tried
