This is a professional-grade engine with a large 1.9 litre fuel tank, well suited to commercial jobs. As a self-propelled machine, you don’t have the stress or strain of pushing it around a lawn, with variable drive speed allowing you to adjust momentum to suit your requirements. This is a collection and discharge machine, with top class collecting performance leaving minimal clippings on the lawn and featuring a dust blocking 65 litre bag.

Robust & durable, ideal for tough jobs

Several elements of the LC 551VBP have been upgraded with aluminium for a stronger, more robust machine. For example, the chassis is aluminium, with design changes also benefiting collection performance. The gear box casing and wheel rims are both also aluminium, with rubber tyres providing deeper tread depth for improved traction, and double-sealed bearings for a smoother drive. The inclusion of a side protection bumper adds an extra layer of durability, perfect for use next to obstacles or walls.

A great machine to work with

Thanks to its Blade Brake Control, you are able to safely drive this mower over hard surfaces without having to turn off the engine, with the blade being stopped yet the engine remaining on. For comfortable operation, the handle is ergonomic and easily adjustable, while able to be folded for simple storage and transportation, and the cutting height is quick to adjust, centrally.
