The Mountfield 1538M-SD tractors provide an alternative to collecting after cutting. With a side discharging cutter deck, these lawn tractors neatly cut and spread the grass where it will wilt naturally. For areas that are cut more frequently the Mountfield 1538M-SD tractors have a mulching function to cut and re-cut grass particles so they disappear into the lawn, recycling nutrients back into the soil. Powered by a Mountfield 14.5 hp single cylinder engine, fitted with a manual transmission with five forward gears and one reverse.
