STIHL SR 450 Backpack Mistblower / Sprayer

STIHL’s SR 450 is a 2-in-1 petrol sprayer that can also dust and spray granules. With a spraying distance of up to 14.5 metres.

Excellent spraying performance

As well as the impressive spraying distance, the SR 450 also features several benefits that make it a great sprayer and duster. It has a large metering lever, positioned just below the control handle, which, with just one movement, you can use to switch the flow of powder on and off, or to set the exact concentration in intermediate stages. Three grids can be assembled to change the spray’s jet shape and direction. Taper grids, diffraction grating and double diffraction grating are included as standard. This model also has a large 14 litre tank so that you can keep working for longer, while the large filler opening helps to minimise spillages.

Easy to use

The 2-in-1 conversion mechanism means the SR 450 can be easily switched from spraying to dusting at the turn of a handle. There is no need for a separate conversion kit or specialist technical skills to make the change. A multi-function control handle places all of the machine’s important controls within easy reach so that the machine is not only simple to use, but comfortable too, with your hand never having to leave the handle.

Comfortable operation

The SR 450 uses STIHL’s ElastoStart system to reduce the shock caused by the compression of the engine during starting. This is taken away from the user’s joints and muscles using an element in the starter handle. Anti-vibration technology also helps reduce fatigue, with the engine’s oscillations dampened so as to drastically reduce vibrations at the handle. The machine is also intelligently designed, with a practical carrying system evenly distributing the weight across your shoulders and back to ensure maximum comfort.
