Professional electric saw for the building trade. The Stihl MSE220CQ chainsaws feature optimum technology providing full electronic control of the motor's functions. Ematic chain lubrication maximises oil lubrication and lengthens wear while using 50% less oil than comparative methods. This is achieved by pinpointing exactly where lubrication is required. Overload protection turns the engine off before it overheats, for example when strong feed pressure is applied or if the guide bar becomes clamped in the wood. The Stihl MSE220CQ chainsaws are fitted with a QuickStop Super chain brake which instantly, but, comfortably stops the saw chain in the event of any kickback or when the operators hand is no longer in contact with the rear handle. Self-disconnecting carbon brushes interrupt the current supply to protect the motor against damage. A side mounted tensioning system is provided, under the protection of the sprocket cover. This tensioning screw allows the user to alter the saw chains set-up without the operator needing to touch the sharp chain. Stihl electric chainsaws produce little noise, so they are ideal for use indoors or near homes. Also available with 16" / 40 cm and 18" / 45 cm bar lengths.
