This kit provides this protection in the form of a mesh visor and orange ear defenders, but, in addition to this the Stihl Extreme helmets provide protection from objects falling form above with a tough construction of ABS plastic. The helmet is an orange colour to provide high visibility and warn anyone approaching that you are operating potentially dangerous machinery. The ear defenders protect the wearer against high motor noises while the mesh visor protects the face and eyes from objects which have become airbourne and have the potential to obstruct the machine user's view.
