For the user's safety Stihl have developed a very effective anti-vibration system which uses rubber buffers to reduce oscillations from the engine, thus dampening vibrations transmitted through the handles. This technology means that the vibration the operator experiences is not particuarly intense and should not pose any health threats. These powerful brushcutters have a bike handle for optimum mowing performance. The handle allows the machine to be guided without requiring tiring amounts of force and provides a very smooth mowing performance. The Stihl FS90 strimmers and brushcutters are equipped with an automatic decompression valve that allows some of the compression pressure in the cylinder to escape, lowering the force required to operate the starter rope. A manual fuel pump allows the user to inject an extra burst of fuel into the carburettor with a press of a button. This reduces the number of starting strokes required following extended periods of inactivity. The handle can be adjusted through 90� to facilitate transport and storage. A multi-function handle houses all of the engine controls. This easy, thumb operated control means the operator's hand never leaves the handle. A shoulder strap with soft padding boosts user comfort, particularly when working for long periods. Supplied with goggles for protection against UV radiation and flying particles.
