Fantastic cutting with an AutoCut head
Thanks to STIHL’s 1.05 kW 4-MIX engine, the FS 111 R enjoys all the benefits of 4-stroke power without the drawbacks, utilising mixed lubrication technology to run on a fuel-oil mix just like a 2-stroke machine. Some of these advantages include faster acceleration, higher power and torque, as well as less noise and emissions, with higher fuel efficiency.
Supplied with an AutoCut mowing head, you can simply tap the head on the ground to renew the line as it wears, ensuring maximum cutting performance at all times.
Simple operation from this capable machine
A larger tank on the engine means you will find yourself stopping this machine less frequently to top up. Also included is a manual fuel pump that delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button, minimising the number of starting strokes needed after extended breaks in operation. Thanks to a decompression valve, the amount of force required to pull the starter rope is also decreased, resulting in much easier starting all round.
When you stop the machine, the stop switch automatically returns to the starting position, allowing for easier restarting of the unit.
Comfortable to use even over long periods
Supplied complete with a single shoulder harness, the FS 111 R is a loop-handled machine, making it ideal for work in confined spaces and mowing around obstacles in comfort. This model is lightweight, at just 5.5 kg, and is easy to use, with a multi-function handle housing all of the important engine and speed controls.
On top of this, STIHL have included their impressive anti-vibration technology with this machine, resulting in oscillations from the engine being dampened for a reduction in vibrations at the handle.
