A high performance pedestrian brushcutter even on steep slopes and in restricted spaces

The AS 63 is a pedestrian brushcutter built to tackle unruly vegetation in areas that only get cut a few times a year, including vineyards, orchards, large lawns, and densely vegetated areas – even on steep slopes or where access is limited. It is robust and sturdy to cope with demanding work, but compact and agile for easy manoeuvrability. The machine can be purchased with 1 of 2 engine options.

Choose from a 4-stroke or a 2-stroke engine…

Choose from 2 engines for the brushcutter; the powerful Briggs & Stratton (B&S) 4-stoke petrol engine with up to 5.0 hp is for use on relatively level ground. The AS Motor (ASM) 2-stroke petrol engine with up to 6.7 hp excels on steep slopes and can achieve up to 2,400 m² coverage per hour.

Superb mulching results

It comes with a double-blade system for an outstanding cutting pattern and good mulching effect. The conical rear-taper mower deck, as well as the front pivot wheels attached outside of the cutting pattern, ensure an optimal inflow of the material that will be cut by the cross-blade. Through this design the grass is cut in a relatively upright, ideal position with excellent mulching results.

Excellent manoeuvrability no matter the terrain

The robust transmission with limited slip differential ensures reliable propulsion and enables safe working even on difficult, steep terrain and on wet soil. The AS 63 has an automatic speed limiter for driving downhill and an automatic parking brake that engages when releasing the traction drive for total reassurance.

Packed with user-friendly features for comfortable operation

With variable speed drive the drive speed can be preset up to a maximum speed of 4 km/h so there is no need to push the machine. The AS 63 has an overall low weight – 74/77 kg – and folds down small enough to fit into a passenger vehicle for easy transportation. Additional features include vibration damping and handlebar adjustment for comfortable operation.
