A cordless blower using STIHLs AK system
The battery-operated BGA 57 blower from STIHL delivers powerful performance with comfortable operation, and is the perfect choice for homeowners looking to maintain their garden, decking, driveway and more. It is part of the versatile AK series, allowing you to use one battery for a whole fleet of compatible AK system machines.
A slim, well balanced blower that is easy to handle
At just 3.5 kg with the AK 20 installed, the blower is easy to manoeuvre around the garden for effectively clearing leaves and other debris. It also makes it easy to transport if you need to. A slim, well balanced design enables to unit to be held close to the users body further aiding manoeuverability whilst reducing fatigue.
Additional comforts ensure this blower is a pleasure to use
A symmetrical trigger lockout allows for simple starting of the unit with either the right or the left hand, and a rubber handle ensures a comfortable grip. The blower tube can be adjusted to three lengths to suit the height of the user.
Battery and charger sold separately
The shell only does not include any battery or charger, but may be desirable if you already have a compatible battery and charger from another STIHL machine. You can also purchase the kit or the promotional kit which does include at least one battery and a charger. The recommended battery for this machine is the AK 20 battery, which will provide up to 18 minutes of blowing time on one full charge. The recommended charger is the AL 101 standard charger, which will restore the AK 20 battery to full power in 180 minutes, and features a handy LED indicator, a velcro strap for containing the electrical cable, and it can be wall mounted if desired.

STIHL AK System tools and batteries are covered for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase by the owner, when used for the designed purpose of that product by domestic users. Terms and conditions apply. Garden Machinery Direct will register the warranty with STIHL for you.

Bought to replace a petrol blower and this is just as powerful but a lot easy to use being lightweight, quiet and removing the mess of mixing petrol & oil. Getting about 15-20 use time from a full battery (AK20). I bought 2 batteries to give me extended use. Typically high Stihl quality too.
