Comfortable to use

A padded ergonomic harness spreads the weight between your shoulders, back, hips and upper thighs, with soft padding increasing comfort when used for long periods. This is a blower that you can rest assured is comfortable enough to use over the course of a long day. It also makes use of STIHL's anti-vibration system, which dampens the oscillations from the machine's engine to reduce vibrations at the handles.

A multi-function control handle allows for easy thumb operation, with your hand never having to leave the handle.

The BR 500 benefits from STIHL's 4-MIX engine, using revolutionary 4-stroke mixed lubrication technology. The engine runs on a fuel-oil mix just like a 2-stroke machine, offering the benefits of 4-stroke power without the compromises. You can expect fast acceleration, more power, lower noise, reduced emissions and increased fuel efficiency. The BR 500 also has a built-in sound damper, with noise reduction for the human ear measured at 59% compared to the previous model.
