The STIHL BR 200 is a very compact, low weight backpack blower aimed at the domestic user.
Powerful but with low emissions
The 27.2 cc 2-MIX engine powering the BR 200 makes it ideal for bringing professional power to your garden. Despite the high levels of power it brings to the table, STIHL have ensured the BR 200 remains a low emission machine, with the engine already meeting the requirements of EU emissions standard Stage II.
Simple to use and control
Thanks to a simplified starting system, you’ll be up and running in no time, while an anti-vibration system dampens oscillations from the engine to reduce the long-term effects from extended use. A multi-function control handle keeps all the options within reach of a single hand, with easy and comfortable thumb-operated settings.
Comfortable design
Because the BR 200 is built to a lightweight specification, it is very comfortable to use over long periods of time. The ergonomic harness provided with the machine evenly distributes the unit’s weight between your shoulders, back, hips and upper thighs. Thanks to soft padding, comfort is increased further, particularly during prolonged use.

Firstly, the screw driver was not included (which it was supposed to be) so I had to purchase one for it.
Secondly, long tube attachment does not stay on when the machine is on. It simply detaches and blows off. No matter how much I follow the instructions and try to securely attach it, it just comes off. I actually now have to use duct tape to attach t which is completely outrageous. The end bit that you push and lock into place attaches securely.
The product itself is easy to start, light but it’s too cumbersome to manoeuvre, so it’s suitable for big jobs and one directional.
In other words, when you want to blow one direction, you have to ensure you are constantly moving in one direction as it doesn’t stop, otherwise the second you change direction, what you’ve just blown gets moved into the clean area.
Thirdly, it’s difficult to store when you’ve finished the job because it’s L shaped and you have to disassemble and reassemble it everytime you use it.
If I could return it, I would.
