A heavy-duty cordless mulching mower for medium lawns

The Husqvarna LB 448i is a cordless mulching mower designed for semi-professional users for maintaining medium to large green spaces in the most demanding conditions. Husqvarna’s own BioClip^® mulching technology finely shreds grass cuttings and almost-invisibly returns them to the lawn, where they return vital nutrients back to the soil which in turn creates a luscious lawn. Being battery-operated means it’s quiet to operate so is ideal for use in noise-sensitive areas, and with low running costs and minimal maintenance too.

Robust design for commercial use

The aluminium cutting deck with a 48 cm working width is robust and long-lasting. Double ball bearings in the wheels ensure smooth manoeuvrability especially over uneven terrain, whilst wheel scrapers keep the wheels clean for optimum performance. 

It’s really easy to use, day in day out

An interactive keypad makes it easy to start and its light weight (28 kg) makes it easy to manoeuvre use after use. PowerBoost technology automatically increases the blade speed for efficient cutting no matter the length of grass. savE^TM mode lets you choose between maximum run time or maximum power, without changing the end result. The handlebar can be easily adjusted horizontally and vertically for optimum working positions, welcomed for prolonged periods of work.

Suitable for year round use, whatever the weather

The LB 448i fulfils the IPX4 classification for rain resistance meaning it can be used all year round and in all weather conditions. The double battery slot allows for two compatible batteries to be utilised one after the other, minimising down time and maximising run time. One of the recommended BLi300 batteries provides up to 45 minutes working time.

At least 1 battery and a charger are required

At least 1 – but ideally 2 for optimum performance – compatible batteries and a charger are needed to operate the mulching mower. They are available separately to allow the user to choose the right combination to suit their needs. The recommended set-up includes 2 x BLi300 batteries and the QC500 high speed charger, however the BLi200 battery is also compatible.
