A battery-powered domestic lawnmower for medium-sized lawns
The Mountfield Empress 41 Li is the smallest Empress with a 41 cm steel deck made for lawns up to 400 m2. It is part of their interchangeable Freedom 500 cordless range, and being battery-powered makes it lightweight and easy to move, with a folding handlebar ensuring compact storage too.
Remarkable manoeuvrability no matter the topography
With rear wheel drive transmission and fixed speed self-propulsion (3.7 km/h), the Empress 41 Li can cope with sloped terrain with ease, limiting user fatigue by doing the push work for you. Additionally, ball bearings in the wheels further ensure smooth manoeuvring whilst also protecting the grass during use.
Collect, discharge, or mulch cuttings
This lawnmower is capable of managing cuttings in the following ways: collecting them in the large 60 Litre grass box, or with its removal discharging them to the rear, directing them to the side of the machine via the side deflector, or mulched which means finely shredded cuttings are returned to the surface of the lawn as a Nitrogen-rich fertiliser.
There are so many benefits to battery technology
There is no cord to restrict the use of the Empress 41 Li lawnmower, it doesn't emit any harmful emissions and operates much more quietly, too. Due to the lack of moving parts, typically this battery-powered machine will require less costly maintenance. Putting it away after use is easy, with no electrical cord to wind up and no fuel spills to worry about.
Along with the lawnmower shell, 1 x 2.0 Ah battery, 1 x 4.0 Ah battery, and a single fast charging unit are included to get you mowing, all of which are compatible with other garden tools in the Freedom 500 range. A grass bag, mulching plug, and side deflector are all included.
A 2 year domestic warranty with Mountfield is included, we will register the machine. T&Cs apply.
