A battery-powered domestic lawnmower for medium-sized lawns
The Mountfield Empress 51 Li is the largest Empress with a 51 cm steel deck made for lawns up to 600 m2. It is part of their battery-operated Freedom 500 series, which makes this machine lightweight and easy to manoeuvre, with handlebars that fold down for compact storage too.
Minimal effort for exceptional manoeuvrability
The Empress 51 Li is self-propelled and has a fixed forward speed of 3.7 km/h, which is particularly useful for navigating undulating terrain as well as flat ground, with the rear wheel drive transmission providing further assistance when working on slopes. Ball bearings in the wheels make overall manoeuvrability easier whilst also protecting the surface of the lawn.
With a versatile 4 cutting methods
Cut grass can be collected in the sizeable 60 Litre grass collector, or discharged to the rear once the grass bag has been removed; they can also be deflected to the side, or with the mulch plug inserted finely shredded cuttings can be dispersed onto the surface of the lawn to fertilise the soil. The cutting height is centrally adjusted 22-80 mm through 6 preset positions.
There are so many advantages to a battery machine
Battery power gives you the freedom to use the lawnmower in the farthest corners of your garden, without the nasty emissions and loud noises that a petrol-drive machine produce. Typically, a battery machine requires less maintenance due to the lack of moving parts. There are also no fuel spills to worry about and no electrical cable to tidy when putting the lawnmower away.
What's included
As well as the lawnmower unit, 2 x 5.0 Ah batteries and a dual charging unit are included to get you mowing; these are also interchangeable with other garden tools in the Freedom 500 series. A grass bag, mulching plug, and side deflector are all enclosed.
A 2 year domestic warranty with Mountfield is included, we will register the machine. T&Cs apply.
