STIHL‘s battery-operated FSA 57 cordless grass trimmer is ideal for domestic grass cutting on medium to large gardens, whilst also being suitable for professional heritage work. It slices through coarse unruly vegetation with ease, creating beautifully uniformed border edges. When the ground is uneven or the grass is too close to a boundary and a mower simply won’t suffice, this grass trimmer is for you.
Maximum efficiency with little effort
The shaft length is easily adjustable with the press of a button and the handle can be altered without the need for any tools making it suitable for all to use. It’s lightweight to enable you to use it for longer and the soft handle with a control lever offers precise control. With a cutting circle diameter of 280mm the mowing line will extend automatically when the AutoCut C 3-2 nylon mowing head (included) is tapped on the ground, meaning you can tackle more vegetation with little effort. The mowing head can be refilled from the outside and no tools are required to do this.

For a limited time only, the promotional kit offers a second battery for half the price, which comprises of the shell, 2 AK 10 batteries, and an AL 101 charger, meaning you can work for twice as long. 1 AK 10 Lithium-ion battery is capable of running for 25 minutes or cutting up to 125 m2 of lawn or trimming 625 m of lawn edges on a single charge, and has an LED charge-level indicator. The 230 Volts AL 101 charger will charge the AK 10 battery to 80% in 70 minutes and to 100% in 95 minutes.

An excellent garden tool. My son came over yesterday and put it together and demonstrated how it works, it’s really not that hard but before I unboxed it I wanted his input and skill. He assures me I could have done it alone. It works brilliantly, and the battery life is good. I bought this make to be guaranteed quality and longevity and I think it ticks both boxes. Finally it’s lighter than I expected so win win. Highly recommend.

Excellent service and excellent product. Two batteries make good sense if you have larger areas to clear – one lasts around half an hour. I’d recommend getting the PolyCut 3-2 mower head as well; the gardeners at the place where I volunteer prefer it to the strimmer head for most uses, and certainly for the heavier work like deeper broad leaf grass with weeds. If you get the mower head, just make sure you only use the Stihl plastic cutting blades – the cheap chinese replacements are temptingly priced but last no time at all
