Brilliant product. Works very efficiently. Second one in family. Battery lasts a surprising lerngth of time.
Only downside of purchase – Garden Mavhinery Direct delivery was at glacial speed!

So pleased I bought these trimmers. They’re doing a superb job in my large garden with lots of shrubs which usually take ages to trim with ordinary shears.

MRS LINDA MARTIN –
Lightweight and easy to handle but has trimmed my hedges/topiary bushes easily
C – Surrey –
Light weight and cuts well. I have used both attachments to cut low hedges (box lavender) shape topiary and trim the wedge of a small grass path.
Really please with my choice.
Trevor Kirby –
These shears are excellent and are perfect for trimming the smaller hedges and shrubs which are too small or where there is limited access for my larger hedge trimmers.
Kate Murray –
Fab. Love both tools. Looked for ages and dithered over cheaper versions but opted for stihl as best on marker imo. Easy to use. Guard on bush cutter does come loose so ALWAYS handle with gloves. Blades are super sharp. Mafe trimming small hedges and bushes so much easier and awkward bits of grass if you dont have a strimmer. Keep your hands AWAY from grass tool when cutting. DONT be tempted to flick grass away when cutting or you will lose fingers! Excellent service and best price i could find from Garden Machinery. Thank you!

Mike Cowles –
A premium product which I think will prove worthy of the price. Used twice so far and brilliant at edging my lawn with its varied borders of brick, proprietary edging and concrete path. It was a ‘hands and knees’ job but that was not a problem as I prefer the better control and finish I can achieve than with the optional extension handle (not bought). Easy to hold and with easy controls so I didn’t experience any hand discomfort.
The shrub trimming blade has its limitations (a hedge trimmer it is not of course) but does a good job at shaping the new season growth on shrubs such as box, skimmia and choisya. It also proved useful on small areas of my beech hedging where it encroached on other plants, where a full-on hedge trimmer would be unwieldy. Just don’t expect to cut woody stems without problems and use secateurs for these.
Battery had more than enough power to complete the lawn edging and a few bits of trimming.
Well built, as would be expected from Stihl, with easy blade changes. Like any trimmer the blades need keeping clean (dirt pick up from lawn edge is inevitable) to maintain efficiency, and I noted some grass bits and soil had worked it’s way under the blade mount but were easily removed.
Comes in convenient fold-out tool-roll.
Higher price than many other similar tools but I’m pretty confident that it will outlast them all.

Nicola –
Brilliant little interchangeable shears that I have been using for trimming privet hedge, topiary box and holly, and use the smaller head for trimming round flowers on a grass sofa like cutting my husband’s hair during lockdown! Lasts about 15 minutes and charge doesn’t take long: I normally do something else so haven’t timed it. Great for smaller jobs and tight corners.
David H. –
