COVID-19 Customer Notice

In response to the government announcement last night we wish to reassure our much valued Garden Machinery Direct customers that our website gardenmachinerydirect.co.uk remains open for business as normal and as the situation stands we are still able to dispatch machinery and parts with carriers and the Post Office.
Staff are still available to support the online business by telephone. As there can be no physical contact when making deliveries, we will not require you to sign any documentation when they are made. Instead a photograph will be taken and we will email you any necessary documentation. Inevitably due to the logistical pressure on carriers, it may mean that despatching goods out to customers may take slightly longer than normal and we ask for your patience and understanding.
This is traditionally a very busy time of year for us and we wish to continue to support our much valued customers to the best of our ability in these exceptional times whilst also ensuring the safety, health and welfare of all of our much valued staff and their families.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, over the past few days we have seen an exceptional unprecedented volume of orders, and unavoidably there will be a delay in you receiving your order.
All outstanding orders will be dispatched within the next 3-5 working days and you will receive an email when this has been confirmed, so you know when to expect delivery.
We ask that customers bear with us and instead of telephoning, please email us with any concerns and we will get back to you as soon as we can, as our limited staff are being slowed down by the volume of calls.
Rest assured we are still open and we are working as hard as we can to turn orders around as soon as possible. Your support and patience is much appreciated.
