Solid made , only provides about 2 feet extension.Makes usage a bit top heavy horizontally.
I bought a second extension shaft for an extra high hedge ( about 10 feet) as I don’t like ladders.
BEWARE the extension shafts have been designed to stop you using more than one! HOWEVER with a small file you can easily file away the two plastic pins inside the male end of one of the extension shafts which are stopping the shafts engage the electrical spade connectors.( be careful not to damage the electrical spade connectors ) Hey presto you now have another 2 foot extension ( making vertical usage work fine)
