Mountfield’s MPH 50 Li long reach hedge trimmer is built for domestic users to maintain tall hedges that are up to 4 metres high. Being battery-operated gives the freedom to operate without the restriction of a cable, and with the same power as a petrol unit. The battery and charger sold separately; the recommended set-up includes the 2 Ah battery for up to 40 minutes run time per charge and the standard charger.

Superb cutting performance in a neat package

With a 44 cm cutting length from the dual action, laser cut blade, and a 74.5 cm shaft extension, the MPH 50 Li has the reach you need to trim the tops of tall hedges. It has a soft grip handle so that you can work for longer, in comfort, despite excellent levels of power from the 400W electric motor.

Cordless power for easy operation

Mountfield recommend using this model with their 2 Ah Lithium-ion battery. This will give a running time of around 40 minutes – more than enough to tackle even large areas of hedge. Being a cordless machine, you don’t have to worry about power cables or smelly petrol fumes, while you can also expect lower noise, lower vibrations and a lighter weight. These are straightforward models to operate, with no complicated maintenance requirements.
