STIHL HLE 71 Electric Hedge Trimmer

This is the long-shafted HLE 71, which offers a large working range and is suitable for vertical cutting at a distance from the hedge, with a 50cm cutting length.

Adjustable, versatile performance 

The cutting tool can be adjusted gradually up to 125 degrees, as well as folded up parallel to the shaft and locked for easy transportation. Ground covering plants and shrubbery are able to be cut horizontally, as well as the vertical cutting facilitated by the large working range. The HLE 71 has a 50cm cutting length and an overall length of 2.54m, making it ideal for working on tall or broad hedges.

Comfortable, effortless control

The HLE 71 is a loop-handled tool, which provides freedom of movement and ease of operation even in cramped conditions. The unit also sports a soft-grip handle, to make working with the machine more comfortable and reduce the intensity of vibrations from the engine unit. STIHL's shoulder strap also helps with operator comfort, making work over long periods of time less tiring. With a rotating harness eyelet, the appliance can also be swung easily.
