A compact, zero-emission, professional mulching mower revamped for 2022

Newly designed for 2022, the AS 420 E-ProClip is a professional mulching mower outstandingly suitable for parks and campsites, roadsides, sports facilities, private customers with large ornamental lawns, and everything in between. It is powered by the latest cordless technology from EGO Powertools for zero-emission operation; batteries and chargers are sold separately.

Superb manoeuvrability even in confined spaces

The compact 42 cm cutter deck of the mulching mowers means it can squeeze under and in-between obstacles and up slopes with ease. Double ball-bearing supported wheels press down very little on the surface of the lawn, which not only make it easier to manoeuvre the machine but also leave a cleaner finish.

Much quicker than a traditional lawn mower with better lawn results

This mulching mower is up to 30% quicker than a non-mulching mower as there are no cuttings to dispose of, instead they are finely shredded and returned to the surface of the lawn where they fertilise the soil in turn encouraging healthier growth. The AS 42- E-ProClip has an adjustable cutting height 40-80 mm through 5 preset positions, and it has an 18 mm mulching height.

The perfect machine for use in noise and environment-sensitive areas

Being battery-powered, firstly, there are no restrictions to where it can be used that an electric machine would have as a result of a cable; secondly, compared to electric or fuel-run, the AS 420 E-ProClip is much quieter during operation and doesn’t produce any emissions resulting in a healthier working environment, as well as producing fewer vibrations for more comfortable long-term use especially.

Designed to withstand, and be comfortable for, prolonged use

To prolong the life of the mower the mulching unit is made from strong galvanised steel, and a third crankshaft bearing and friction discs on the mulching blades protect the engine for impacts. An asymmetric engine design provides balance to the machine and an adjustable handle bar allows for comfortable use.

Powered by EGOs Power+ cordless technology

There are two battery slots on the E-ProClip for the recommended EGO Power+ 10 Ah batteries (sold separately) to provide maximum performance and run times, however it will work with just a singular battery. The fast charger is also recommended for a 0-100% charging time of a single 10 Ah battery of just 70 minutes.

The batteries are compatible with all professional tools from EGO Powertools for ultimate fleet versatility; similarly, if the compatible batteries and charger are already owned the AS 420 E-ProClip can be purchased without them for a cost-effective purchase.
