Introducing Cub Cadet’s first battery-powered lawn tractor
The XT2 ES107 lawn tractor is Cub Cadet’s first battery-powered lawn tractor, with all the performance of a petrol-driven machine, delivering a superior cutting experience without any compromise.
A customisable cutting experience
It is capable of cutting large areas of lawns quickly and efficiently with its 107 cm / 42 inch cutting width, and grass cuttings can be discarded via the side ejector, or finely shred and returned to the ground with the supplied mulch kit. The cutting height can be adjusted between 12 preset positions from 25 cm up to 100 cm to suit.
The benefits of battery power are plentiful
The lawn tractor gets its power from a 56 Volt Lithium-ion battery which has a rated capacity of 60 Ah, and is always ready to use with immediate starting and just a light touch of the pedal to get moving. Depending on the mowing conditions, you can expect the lawn tractor to run for up to 90 minutes on a single charge covering around 9000 m2/h, and recharge in just 4 hours.
Compared to any lawn mower fueled by petrol, battery power offers emission-free mowing and quiet operation, making it ideal for use in sensitive environments whilst also providing a more pleasant mowing experience for the operator. Additionally, the electric motor contains no wearing parts such as spark plugs, fuel filters, and carburetors, increasing the longevity of the machine.
Efficient and comfortable operation
The XT2 ES107 boasts Cub Cadet’s Tight Turn xTREME technology giving it the tightest turning radius available at just 17cm, making it ideal for manoeuvering at ease around garden obstacles including trees, shrubs, and garden ornaments. Four deck wheels and large turf saver tyres prevent damage to the lawn during operation. Fixed LED headlights allow for longer working times, from dawn ’til dusk.
For a comfortable user experience, the XT2 ES107 features a high back Cub Cadet seat which is adjustable with a single lever, and the steering wheel has a soft-grip finish. A cup holder and storage compartment are desirable extras.

It’s easy to keep on top of your tractors status even if you’re out mowing all day, as the 12V-USB socket allows for on-the-go charging of your smart device.
