The HT2000E hedge trimmer from battery-power specialists EGO is a professional-quality machine for domestic cutting of narrow, small-to-medium hedges. The hedge trimmer cuts at a single speed Battery and charger sold separately.
Easily slice through unruly stems
The laser cut, diamond ground blade measures 51 cm and has a 25 mm blade gap, and the dual action, single knife cutting action ensure a cleaner, more precise cut; they also make this hedge trimmer equally suitable for cutting thick stem widths. The blade tip protector prevents damage to the blade when using near brickwork and other obstacles, allowing you to confidently reach around the whole hedge.
Additional features are beneficial for longevity and safety
Backed up by a high-efficiency brushless motor, the HT2000E offers a smoother experience due to low vibrations, which comes with long-term health benefits. The front handle and trigger stops the blade when it is released for safety; similarly a hand guard helps to prevent injuries to the user during use.
Part of a fully interchangeable battery system
Any Lithium-ion battery in the EGO Power+ 56V range will fit any EGO machine, which offers a versatile and cost-effective solution to garden care; no battery and charger are included with the shell only as they may already be owned, otherwise at least one battery and a charger are required to operate the hedge trimmer. The 2.5 Ah battery provides up to 75 minutes working time per full charge, whilst the 7.5 Ah battery offers run times of up to 225 minutes at the most.
A 5 year domestic/1 year professional warranty with EGO is included, we will register the machine. T&Cs apply.

Only used it once but it cut cleanly. Like the facility to hang it for storage. The only drawback for an 84 year old user is the battery weight. This is the second Ego product I have bought, Great designs
