The 53 cm cutting deck is made from pressed steel that ensures it is robust, strong and light. Resistant to shock and treated to prevent rust, UV abrasion and corrosion, it enables this machine to be used for the most challenging work. The deck is a floating style, with this innovative design stopping the grass from being pushed flat against the ground so that nothing escapes.

This is a highly competent machine, beautifully balanced and easy to operate and steer. I have so far only cut with it at highest setting (8cm) and it dealt with rank, long grass with ease throwing it to one side and keeping its feet clear.
Its an expensive machine, but in our case with nearly an acre to mow , it is a good investment. in the past, I have mown this area short perhaps 8 times per year. now, because of age (over 80) and environmental needs, I have decided to let the grass grow long and the wildflowers emerge. It is working, and is now a practical proposition.
