Robust chassis
This Mountfield Elite model is fitted with a Honda GCVx145, 145cc autochoke engine, which offers power and reliability. The SP46 Elite is self-propelled so it requires less effort to use due to its power-driven deck, just engage the drive and the mower will move forward.
The large diameter rear wheels ensure it takes the effort out of cutting the grass and able to handle the rougher ground and to protect the deck it is fitted with a skid plate ensuring you can get the best finish without the risk of scalping on uneven surfaces.
Mulch plug option
The machine comes with a large 60 litre grass collector, but if you prefer not to use this, then the machine can be used without and will discharge your grass clippings back into the lawn, there is also an option of a mulch plug which is easily popped into the machine allowing you to finely cut your clippings back into your lawn which acts as a natural fertiliser and saves you time emptying your grassbox when full.
This model is easy to store and transport due to the foldable handles.

First time I have bought a self propelled petrol mower always used electric hover mowers previously. Excellent starting and the height adjustment so easy with just the one handle.
Handles the sloping ground I need to cut around my static caravan effortlessly, so easy to use, and with the larger cutting diameter cutting is far quicker. Love the large grass collection bag, takes a lot of grass cuttings easy to take of and on.
A well made machine, the larger rear wheels handles the slopes and rough ground very well.
