This top-end homeowner ride-on mower is powered by a 764cc Ariens twin cylinder engine which offers quick and efficient mowing, together with the 42-inch fabricated deck which provides maximum airflow even in challenging conditions for an exceptional cutting performance. The IKON HD 42 is ideal for medium sized gardens of around 10,000 m2.
Zero-turn equals exceptional manoeuverability
Rather than a conventional out-front steering system, a zero-turn is driven and steered by the rear wheels, with two handles which control the drive, braking, and steering; the IKON XD is no exception.
The main benefits of a zero-turn is that you can cut your lawn more efficiently and therefore more quickly. You can turn 180° at the end of a mowing row, which means there is no need to drive over already-cut grass or waste time awkwardly manoeuvering into the correct position.
Always a clean cut, no matter the terrain
The commercial-style 4-point hanging deck ‘hugs’ the ground regardless of the terrain for an even cut. The dial-operated height of cut lets you easily adjust cutting positions 3-8-11.4 cm (6 mm increments) to suit personal requirements; cuttings are discharged to the side of the machine, with the option to purchase a mulching kit separately.
Operator comfort is always considered
A plush high-back seat with arm rests and padded control arms provide operator comfort during use.
