A lightweight loop-handled brushcutter with anti-vibration technology.
At just 4.6kg (without cutting tool or deflector), the FS 94 RC-E is the lightest brushcutter in this group, and includes extra features for the benefit of user comfort.
2-MIX engine technology
STIHL's 2-stroke engine with stratified charge creates a fuel-free layer of air between the burned charge in the combustion chamber and the fresh charge in the crankcase. This reduces the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle and results in more power with a lower weight, up to 20 percent lower fuel consumption than regular 2-stroke engines and reduced exhaust emissions. With a large fuel tank, you will also be stopping less often to refuel.
Easy starting you can count on
Thanks to STIHL's ErgoStart system, the starting process has been made considerably easier. For example, the starter cord can be pulled with a third of the usual force, while the general effort necessary to start the tool has been cut in half. The actual procedure to start the machine has also been simplified. A manual fuel pump is available to deliver fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button, which is ideal for reducing the number of starting strokes required after extended breaks in operation.
Comfortable, precise control
Anti-vibration technology dampens oscillations from the engine to reduce vibrations at the handle - a great feature for helping to prevent long-term blood vessel damage in the hands and arms. With STIHL's ECOSPEED system in place, you can control this brushcutter's engine speed individually on the operating handle. The loop handle itself is great if you are likely to be working in confined spaces, such as when thinning between bushes and shrubs.
