A versatile loop-handled brushcutter.
This modern, technologically-advanced loop-handled brushcutter is ideal for working in tight spaces without compromising on power.
Reduced-emission 2-stroke engine
STIHL's 2-stroke engine with stratified charge reduces the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle, resulting in more power with lower weight. With 20 percent lower fuel consumption than regular 2-stroke engines and significantly reduced exhaust emissions, the FS 56 RC-E is an intelligent and well-designed piece of kit.
Modern starting technology
A simplified starting procedure, combined with the ErgoStart system, has resulted in a machine that is easy to start and requires significantly less effort than previous models. With ErgoStart, it only takes half of the effort required to start the tool, while the starter cord needs just a third of the force previously necessary. A manual fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button, reducing the number of strokes required to start after extended breaks in operation.
Excellent close control
Thanks to the loop-handled design of this machine, it is ideal for working in areas where space is limited, like thinning between bushes and shrubs.
