The worlds first chainsaw from Stihl is the MS400 petrol chainsaw built with a magnesium piston. Allowing a large displacement of 66.8cc which increases by 14% compared to the MS362 CM chainsaw.
The machine has been built with professionals in mind, offering more power, torque and outstanding power to weight ratio. Thanks to the intelligent design feature it has an impressive power to weight ratio of 1.45 kilograms per kilowatt, ensuring it is ideal to use for long periods.
Designed for Arb and forestry professionals this machine can be used for a number of applications, including , de-limbing, felling and cutting timber down to size.
Features include M-Tronic 3.0 technology which has Stihls simple re-calibration procedure. New HD2 filter delivering optimum performance. Ergo start technology also allows minimal and reliable effort starting the machine.
