A robust cordless mulching mower for small lawns
The Husqvarna LB 442i is a cordless mulching mower designed for semi-professional users maintaining small but complex green spaces. Featuring Husqvarna’s own BioClip® mulching technology, the mower finely shreds grass cuttings and almost-invisibly discharges them onto the lawns surface where it becomes a natural fertiliser, in turn creating a luscious lawn. The advantages of battery power are plentiful, including quiet operation making it suitable for use in noise-sensitive areas, low running costs, and minimal maintenance requirements.
Durable design for long-lasting use
The 42 cm cutting deck is made of aluminium which is durable and long-lasting. Double ball bearings in the wheels help keep the mower steady when manoeuvring over rough terrain.
Efficient, comfortable use is ensured
The LB 442i has an interactive keypad which makes it easy to start and its light weight (24.5 kg) makes it simple to push around. PowerBoost technology ensures efficient performance by automatically adjusting the blade speed to the length of grass. savETM mode gives the choice between maximum run time or maximum power, without affecting the mowers performance. The handlebar can be adjusted both horizontally and vertically to the optimum working position, a must-have for comfortable long-term operation.
Ideal for year round use
The mower fulfils the IPX4 classification for rain resistance making it ideal for year round use in all weather conditions. The double battery slot fits two compatible batteries which maximises working time and reduces downtime waiting for the battery to recharge. One of the recommended BLi300 batteries provides up to 45 minutes working time.
Use Husqvarna Connect to keep up-to-date with the lawnmower
Using Bluetooth on any Android or Apple smart device, access the Husqvarna Connect app for detailed insights about the mower. Get tips, spare parts recommendations, and view user manuals, and access a wealth of information including run time and maintenance needs.
At least 1 battery and a charger are needed
At least 1 – but preferably 2 for optimum performance – compatible batteries and a charger are required to operate the mulching mower. They are sold separately to give the freedom of choosing the right combination to suit user requirements. The recommended set-up includes 2 x BLi300 batteries and the QC500 high speed charger, however the BLi200 battery is also suitable.
