As part of Toro’s Super Recycler range, you’re able to switch between collecting (with a 60 litre collector) and mulching (where the clippings are cut particularly finely so that they wilt back into the lawn, acting as a natural fertiliser) with a simple, fast action lever.

The deck is ideal for working on lawns up to 500 square meters, while thanks to the AutoMatic Drive System installed, the strain is taken away from you – with the pace being perfectly adjusted to match your operating speed. It comes fitted with a 1.5 kW brushless 60V motor. Being a cordless machine, there’s sometimes a balancing act required between power & running time, but the Super Recycler 48 benefits from RunSmart Technology, which optimises power output and overload protection in real time to maximise battery lifespan, run time and performance.

Supplied complete with a 6 Ah Lithium-ion battery and charger, you can expect quieter operation, simple maintenance and easier running versus petrol machines, without the hassle of worrying about power cables. The battery has a handy on-board power level indicator, while other clever features of this model include a washout port for easy cleaning and a Quick Storage Handlebar so it can be stored upright, even including the grass bag.
