Whether for the first cut of the season or general garden maintenance, the HS 82 RC-E is ideal, boasting a double-sided cutting blade with the option of 24 inches / 60 cm or 30 inches / 75 cm, and an array of features to make using the tool easier and more comfortable.

Supreme cutting performance

The double-sided dual ground blade system provides a clean cut and is ideal for cutting stronger, thicker branches. Because this is the R version of the HS 82, it has a specifically-designed cutting blade with wide tooth spacing and longer tooth height. The gearing allows a higher cutting power at a medium stroke rate, offering the opportunity to cut thicker branches and complete clearing work faster.

Efficient & easy to start

The HS 82 RC-E uses STIHL’s 2-MIX engine technology, which combines low fuel consumption and low emissions with a light weight and excellent acceleration. You also get the ErgoStart system, which cuts the effort required to start the tool in half, with the starter cord able to be pulled with just a third of the normal force – 2 fingers and a gentle pull is all it takes. A manual fuel pump and electronic ignition module help further with reducing the number of starting pulls and reliable starting in general. A long-life air filter system is in place to protect the engine and ensure longer cleaning intervals.

Excellent, comfortable control

Single lever operation has the choke, start gas, operating position and stop function integrated in one location, making the HS 82 RC-E an effortless machine to use. The handle rotates by 90 degrees to the left and right, to offer the best cutting position at all times.
