56V, Li-ion battery to be used with EGO machinery. The EGO batteries are patented ARC lithium technology is designed like no other battery, delivery petrol matching performance. It has an innovative design to maximize battery cooling due to its unique  Arc design which unlike brick shaped batteries dissipates heat more efficiently.

Keep cool technology

To prevent overheating the Arc design helps with this, each and every cell is surrounded by EGO unique keep cool phase change material that absorbs heat energy and keeps cells at their optimum temperature for longer.

Exterior mounted

Each battery is fitted onto the outside of the tools and not encased like most tools which means they stay cool delivering longer lasting power. To keep the battery safe and sound the electronics are protected from dust and moisture by a resin coating and the cells are packaged in a robust case that absorbs shocks and vibrations.

Fast recharge

With all this technology the battery has the highest energy capacity in a portable handheld battery, which also means recharging the battery is the quickest around. With only 40 minutes recharge using the rapid charger and 100 minutes using the standard charger.
