An eco-friendly lawnmower for commercial operators
EGO’s LM2135E-SP battery-operated lawnmower has a large 52 cm cutting width and is self-propelled to cater for mowing of larger lawns with sloped areas, done by professional users.
A versatile 3-in-1 cutting system
The height of cut can be set to any of the 7 preset positions from 25 – 90 mm. Clippings can be processed in any of the 3 following ways: they can be collected in the spacious 70 Litre grass bag, discharged to the rear once the collector has been removed, or mulched (mulching kit sold separately) which means finely shredded cuttings are invisibly discharged onto the ground and act as a natural fertiliser.
The finer details ensure ease-of-use
The LM2135E-SP has been designed to be low weight (under 30 kg with battery) with features such as the lightweight polypropylene deck, which along with its self propulsion makes it almost-effortless to manoeuver around. The handlebars can be adjusted to any of the 3 preset positions to provide optimum comfort for the user, and they also fold down for compact transport and storage – the lawnmower can even be hung on the wall for a space-saving storage solution.

Along with the shell, the most powerful 7.5 Ah battery which provides up to 1000m2 coverage per charge, and a rapid charger which takes the battery from 0% to 100% in 60 minutes, are included. A second battery can be purchased to minimise downtime for maximum efficiency.

Extremely pleased with this purchase. Promptly arrived in a BIG box shortly after placing said order.
For those of concern … the supplied 7.5A battery easily takes care of a large garden.
POSITIVES in brief: This mower is a DREAM to use. Has a well suited VARIABLE self propelled drive. Folds to a COMPACT size. Battery charges within an hour.
NIGGLES: This is a HEAVY mower. Has no reverse drive option. Turning ‘on-the-spot’ takes SPACE. Have to assemble the GRASS COLLECTION box.
CONCERNS: A little too easy to accidentally (size and placement) hold one of the propelled activation buttons. Makes for an ALARMING moment … !!!
In conclusion: (For me), A typical 1.5hr slog of a job has turned into a 45min breeze. The adjustability of the self drive feature, coupled with battery power and cutting blade width have undoubtedly left me IMPRESSED.
Prior to purchasing this make and model I had researched my options thoroughly … and by no means is this THE BEST mower on the market, but value for money, quality of cut, battery durability, and ease of operation … certainly gives it’s competition a good MULCHING … !!!
Even after considering my options and placing said order I remained somewhat skeptical, whether this mower would truly deliver.
HAND on HEART, I can HONESTLY say … this somewhat EXPENSIVE quest has PROVED to be a GOOD purchase and am happy to recommend this MAKE, MODEL, and RETAILER to anyone considering a self propelled battery powered mower. Thank you for reading. (Put your worries to one side) Phil.K
